The best thing to experience during your Oman route is Wadi Shab. The wadi is a beautiful and pretty easy walk along the many emerald green water pools.

The walk is about 45 minutes long and it is perfect to cool down during your hike. At the end of the walk, you will reach a part where you can swim through a cave and then see a waterfall at the end.

The whole scenery is just breathtaking and you have to see it.

The place is about a 2-hour drive away from the capital Muscat and it is really easy to reach because it is on the side of the highway.

After you park the car you will have to take a short boat ride to the starting point of the small hike. When you plan this, you should know that you will spend about 3 or 4 hours there. Try to avoid the midday heat and if possible, start the walk in the early morning.

Located in the far north of Oman, the Musandam Governorate is separated from the rest of the country by a piece of landform the UAE.

The Musandam beaches are surrounded by the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and because of that, they are one of the most beautiful beaches in the world filled with pure white sand.

This is a colorful and natural green paradise on earth. The valley is located in the Al Sharqiyah region and it has a spring and several water pools.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

This mosque is the most famous of all the Sultan Qaboos mosques. The mosques were built in different cities all around the country.

This specific one was built in Bausher in Muscat in 2001 and it is breathtaking.

No matter if you are religious or not, this is a place that you have to visit. Everything from the large golden dome, its minarets, engraved walls, arches, unique lamps, decorated interior up to the central crystal chandelier is making the mosque an absolute architectural wonder.

Ras Al Jinz

This place is located in eastern Omar in the city of Ras Al Hadd. Why you should visit it? Well, because it is a natural reserve for endangered green turtles.

More than 20,000 females return to this place every year to lay their eggs. There are beautiful beaches with golden sands and crystal waters in Ras Al Jinz and the tourists and visitors can watch the turtles.

If you go at the right time of the year you can see the turtles digging their nests and laying eggs, and even see the small turtles hatch their eggs and head back to the sea.

If you want to be a part of the amazing nature observation, you should contact the tour guides from the turtle reserve and they will give you more details about it. The observation usually happens very early in the morning so you need to be prepared to wake up at the crack of dawn.
