8 Ways To Use Your Hot Tub During Self-Isolation

Under the coronavirus’s current backdrop and the lockdown situation around the world, we haven’t been able to use many things that we planned too. Among those many things, my hot tub was one of the main things I missed the most.

Many choose spent whole winters planning the best hot tub party, and the world shut down before anything could happen. Looking at the hot tub outside made me envy all those who were in lockdown with their friends.
However, you don’t need other people to enjoy a hot tub, we can do it on our own. If the article inspires you to get a hot tub, try to go for something as the Aleko hot tubs on which you can read more on byrossi.com. Invest in a well-recommended one so that you can have a great time. Here mentioned below are eight ways we utilized our hot tub during self-isolation, and you can too.

Arrange a date:

(If your boy/girlfriend have tested negative for the virus) try to invite them over for a surprise date in the hot tub. Granted that we might not be going out any time soon, it’s a safer and more intimate alternative. Even when we do get a chance to go out, who knows, social life will never be the same after this.

So, why stay apart for much longer? Ask them to come over, cook a hearty meal together, eat it outside, and spend the rest of the night in the hot tub talking about anything that comes to mind. It is a great way to refresh yourself.

Engage in aqua yoga:

Another productive way to use your hot tub is to start aqua yoga. Since you’re alone, space won’t be an issue, and the water will surely keep you attentive. Many people are using this time out to work on themselves and grow as individuals, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t do the same.

Try following a YouTube tutorial with raving comments. You’ll surely be more productive during the day and feel happier. It is also a great way to keep yourself mentally strong; god knows we need all the strength that we can get.

Read and have a glass of wine:

If you love reading and weren’t able to read as much before, well now you’ve got all the time at your hands.
Grab a book that you’ve meant to finish and take it with you to the hot tub. You’ll have a relaxing day immersed in warm water and doing what you love.

Take a few sandwiches and a glass of wine with you, so you don’t have to get up in between your reading session. I almost finish two books a week in my hot tub, and I couldn’t recommend anything better.

Play an online game:

Another way to go about your self-isolation time in a relaxing manner is to engage socially online. Rather than using Facebook and Instagram all day long, try to participate in online gaming. It’s a world of its own and is bound to suck you in before you know it. You can make new friends and learn about their lives while having fun in your hot tub.
Try PUBG, COD, or any other game that you might have a knack for. Once you get into it, there’s no turning back.

Relax and catch up with all your loved ones:

It’s normal to feel a little down during the lockdown, but talking to your friends and family can make it a lot better.
Rather than walking around and multi-tasking while you do that, take your phone calls in the hot tub. Sit back, relax, and mindfully talk to the people that you love.

Moving your legs in the water, and seeing the ripples move will sure put your mind to ease and make you more productive once you’re done.

Start meditating:

In our routine, meditating is hard as we find our mind racing off to unknown places. Well, you aren’t going to find a better time than this. Not only is it more comfortable, but it is also the time you need it the most. Meditating in the hot tub can give you an out of body experience. You can be immersed in nature and its elements while growing strong mentally. Granted that it will take you a few tries to get to that level, you have a higher chance of getting better at it now than ever.

Catch up on some Netflix:

You can also catch up on Netflix. Before the lockdown, I had tons of shows in my “to watch list,” and now I watched almost all of them. Many people stay in bed and watch Netflix all day long. While it might seem good for the first few days, staying inside and looking at a screen for so long can cause nausea and headaches.
Wake up, have a glass of fresh juice, and catch up on all those TV shows in your hot tub. Not only will it be fun, but you’ll also be getting fresh air and some sunlight.

Star watching:

Last but not least, if you only get some free time at night and still want to have some time to yourself, we’ve got you covered. You can grab a light dinner and have it in the hot tub while looking at the sky.
The stars are sure to calm you down after a hard day at work; it will give a sense of oneness with the world around you.

Final thought:

If anything, self-isolation has taught us that we, as individuals are enough for ourselves. While we do need to cherish the relationships that we have, we have learned that fun in life is not only restricted to the people around you.
We hope the ways mentioned earlier to use your hot tub help you relax and grow as a person. So, stop sulking, go outside, fill the hot tubs, and enjoy.
