India is all set to become the fourth country in the world after the US, the former Soviet Union and China who has maken who has made a soft landing on the surface of the moon when India’s spacecraft Chandrayaan-2 will land on the surface of the moon early Saturday local time.

How to watch the Indian moon landing of Chandrayaan-2?

Chandrayaan-2 which means “moon vehicle” in the Sanskrit Language took from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on July 22 because the first scheduled launch was called off due to some “technical snag”. ISRO confirmed that orbiter and landing separated on Monday, six weeks after the mission has started. According to ISRO, it is expected that the lander will touch down early Saturday local time. If it becomes successful, this will be the first time, If any of the world’s spacecraft landed on the moon’s south polar region.

ISRO has expected that the rover will detach from the lander at 11:30 PM IST (Friday) and will start showing the south region by collecting minerals and chemical samples for remote scientific analysis.

ISRO will officially broadcast updated on its website(isro.gov.in) from its headquarters located in Bengaluru, where Indian PM Narendra will be watching it directly. They also appear on India’s Press Information Bureau YouTube channel. Also, you can watch the broadcast on National Geographic and Hotstar at 11.30 p.m. Indian time (2 p.m. ET) on Friday along with the veteran NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger on air to share his expertise.
