4. Spongebob Squarepants

Marine Science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg created the cartoon series “Spongebob Squarepants” for Nickelodeon. Spongebob is an aquatic animal and resides in the fictional underwater city called Bikini Bottom. He lives in a submerged pineapple with his pet snail Gary. Spongebob who resembles a rectangular kitchen sponge carries a childlike enthusiasm and is filled with optimism. He is a fry cook at a fast-food restaurant and loves jellyfishing. He has one goal and that is to get a license to drive a boatmobile.

5. Scooby Doo

“ Scooby-Doo, where are you! “ aired in 1969 had four teenagers and Scooby-Doo, the brown Great Dane who would solve mysteries. Scooby has traits similar to Shaggy, one of the four teenagers. Shaggy is a coward teen who is more determined to calm his hunger than to solve the mysteries. And just like him, Scooby-Doo is has a greater appetite for scooby snacks than anything else. However, his coward smile and loyal nature overshadow everything else. And he successfully becomes one of the most famous cartoon animals.

6. Tom and Jerry

The most iconic pair that will probably never leave our mind and the heart is Tom and Jerry. The mysterious duo of the cat and mouse. The American animated series created in 1940, revolves around Tom’s attempts to get hold of Jerry and Jerry’s run to have a life-saving escape. During its peak time, the show won 7 Academy Awards for Animated short film. Tom and Jerry have been criticized for being violent, however, there is no display of bloodshed and everything is in a comical tone. Music and sound play a vital part in this cartoon.
